Trading periods of the Exchange System during trading days

The order system of the SIX Swiss Exchange divides trading days into five periods: pre-opening, opening, continuous trading, closing auction for equity securities (including listed investment funds) and close of trading.

The quote system of the SIX Swiss Exchange also divides trading days into five periods: pre-opening, opening, continuous trading, close of trading and after-hour trading (post-trading).
