Financial Quote Service (FQS)

The Financial Quote Service (FQS) is a service of the SIX Swiss Exchange. Companies that want to publish quotes and historic charts of their own stocks and the corresponding derivatives on their websites can use it to retrieve stock quotes and market indices from the SIX Swiss Exchange and SWX Europe via the Internet. The quotes are derived from the SMF and PEX-MF either in real time (in the case of closed user groups) or with a delay of 15 minutes and are presented in plain ASCII, allowing clients to present them in whatever manner they see fit. There is no need for a client-side program to preserve state or to carry out feed processing.

SIX Exfeed offers a choice of real-time data, which is subject to a subscriber fee, and delayed data, which is free of charge. Real-time data is subject to an appropriate agreement with SIX Exfeed.
