Why was SIX Exfeed established?
SIX Exfeed was founded as a one-stop source of raw international financial data. The data distribution business offers a significant reduction in time, effort and money (a single contract with SIX Exfeed covers 16 European securities exchanges), so it was reorganised as an independent legal entity.
Is it possible only to receive SIX Swiss Exchange data?
Yes. If you only wish to access Swiss market data, the Swiss Market Feed (SMF) is the right solution.
Does the SMF provide the "accumulated volume" of equities' closing auctions?
Such volume readings are not available as separate figures. However, they can be deduced by adding up all trade messages generated after 5.30 pm CET that contain <05>L;O#volume##timestamp. This provides the accumulated volume for the closing auction.
